Now the bugger is out the unit I can sort shizzle out and really get cracking. I've took on another full time employee that will see lead times improved and give me more time to deal with customers. Things are looking good. Come say hello sunday, i'll be on the tmf stand eating all roofless's burgers

that interior is lovely, rest of the car is very nice too! can i ask how you mounted those front seats? i have some with runners on the bottom and they aren't very secure as i bolted bars across a bucket subframe to get them to fit, the bars flex too so they are springy which isn't ideal....

New address is:

UNIT 3, ROWAN COURT
SANDWELL BUSINESS PARK
CRYSTAL DRIVE
SMETHWICK B66 1RB

the dangermouse trim was done for a customer late last year, I was asked to keep it under wraps till it hit the scene this summer. He had matching logos on the headlining and boot kit. Uber cool

Jesus.... I was at plumb centre on Crystal Drive last week!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Ste,

Ive used the original mount from the metro for the rear of the seats, by welding a plate to each inner sill. That way, it makes for a lovely brace as well as giving something solid to mount the seats off. The fronts are bolted to a couple of 25x25x3mm thick plates welded to the front of the cross member.

Whats the rough cost of a pair of front seats being retrimmed, I've no rears but my fronts are reclining Cobra Le Mans which are now several years old and looking fairly tired. It's not something I'd be doing over the summer but might be something I price up for the "off" season along with some new door cards (I've already got a DIY dashboard) but I'd love to see what the cost would be to see if it's something I can plan for. I think black with white edging to go with the rest of the car.

Only issue is that I'm in the south west in Plymouth so couriering them up to you might be a PIA!

It's something I've wanted to do for ages but never looked into but your work is stunning!
