her major modification is the flip front:
Is that a fibreglass flip front or steel?
It is steel.

There were about 500 ERAs built with about 400 being exported. Out of the 100 or so left here there were about 60 BRG, 30 Flame red and a very few white & silver ones and I think a black one. The main options were half or full leather interior and front spots.
Trying to keep one as original as possible can be a real headache. Owning a half leather, with spots, red one, that's done 200k miles, the main problem is trying to find some of the bits which are unique to the ERA. Mechanically a large proportion are Mini bits but some are Metro and some really which you won't believe. The air filter which is fitted under the near-side wing, was originally off a Bedford HA van, (probably 'cause ERA was based in Dunstable), although the closest fit I found at Halfords is listed as a 1968 160 Volvo!!.
Some bits are so rare, if you ever see the likes of a body kit or some wheels come up for sale as genuine, you really have to question HOW genuine they are, but there again, if that's all you can get....

If I may make a slight amendment to the list THE ANORAK put on a couple of pages ago.

I'm now going to correct myself....If I may make a slight amendment to the list THE ANORAK put on a couple of pages ago.

I've just copied this from the ERA site - www.eraturbo.co.uk
Statistics
UK Cars
99 UK spec cars were built, of these
4 are known to of been stolen or written off
9 were exported to Japan, though one of these has now been imported again.
5 were exported to Germany,
and 1 to the Sultan of Brunei.
Therefore there are a maximum of 81 cars in the UK, though I'm sure this figure is much lower.
Originally, 53 of the cars were Green,
30 Red,
9 Black,
4 White,
and 3 Silver.
Japanese Cars
337 Japanese spec cars were built, of these
157 were in Red,
and 180 in BRG.
