i want to fit 7-8" 13's on my mini but after reading some stuff on here
i am slightly concerned about wheel bearing strength
what kind of limitations do i have?

Upgrade the wheel bearings.

I don't know much about wheel bearings but I thought I'd add what I've come to know. I think standard wheel bearings aren't too bad as long as the wheels aren't too heavy. You start to really get problems if you want to spacer the wheels out too much. It kind of all depends on which wheels you want to use. 13" starmags are really heavy, so expect to go through bearings quite quickly. Not sure on the weights of other wheels. Another option is to try and find some Magnesium wheels instead of normal alloy. And you can always upgrade to Timken bearings, although I don't know a great deal about this type of bearing.
