Paul regarding losing power with the splits did you/or others ever try longer inlet tracts? say 5 inches, as the ones that normally comes with splits is only 31/2 inches! I know that this probably doesn`t help. Info would be great.

Longer could be better as a longer single inlet does give more power.
Longman alloy ones are supposedly the best available as he has considerable experience with them and developed them so IOm guessing theres a reason for 3 1/2".
