did a bit today.. bit annoyed as I had to wait for the welding tips to arrive... anyway....

cut the lip off of the rear hinge panel and began to shape a home made lip:


pleased with this weld...


and fully shaped and clamped in the boot floor ready for welding tommorow...


bit annoyed about the 5 hour delay for welding tips but got somewhere in the end...

I also bought myself a 15 piece 90 degree die grinder and roloc disc holder and roloc discs so I'll get a pic of that tommorow...
Hopefully will acctually have the boot floor tacked and welded in tommorow

Ford Fair on Sunday so will be polishing the Capri tommorow ready for its appearence on classic ford stand.. here is a pic for anyone not familiar with it yet...
