Hi all i have a rover 1.3 MPI and i was wandering what the best manifold would be to get i do not have a catalytic convertor and have a 2inch straight through pipe with a twin DTM. I was going to get stainless but want a mild steel now and use thermal wrap on it. Any ideas would be very greatful.

Hi, I have a stage 4 Mpi and my manifold is a Maniflow stage 2 in mild steel, it has the enlarged top section on the middle pipe. I think it was about £75 but did make a difference to the performance and sound.

As to the coathttp://www.rust.co.uk/popup.cfm?p_i=405051&p_n=405051ing I have heard a few bad things when it comes to exhaust wrap (not sure how true it is) but apparently one caught on fire due to a very small area being uncovered and the heat focused on it so much that it ignited. As I said, not sure how true that it.

I covered mine in a thermal ceramic paint (http://www.rust.co.u...5051&p_n=405051) or you can pay absolutely loads and have it sent off to a company called Zirotec i think and they will do it.

Hope this has been slightly helpful.
