hi i think the coil on my mini is dying symptoms spluttering some thime i also have a rev counter wired to the coil and its jumping between 3&4k revs is my coil on its last legs??

You moved your distributor in an earlier post.
Check the dizzy cap and rotor arm, they may well be burnt

its not burned.. moved dizzy back to where it should be stil the same its only when its cold it dose it!!
