Let her drive the mini, she will soon change her mind when she's in control.

I agree, after driving it down a few twisty country lanes or the odd roundabout, she's sure to come around to the charm of the Mini.

When I met my misses (okay a few years back, i.e. 1989), she was learning to drive and she said she'd like a Fiesta or an Escort (the usual stuff).

But then I started giving her extra driving lessons in the Mini Mayfair I owned at the time and in next to no time she'd forgotten all about Fiesta's and Escorts and she's been Mini mad ever since.

So I hope you get lucky too, but I wouldn't like to have to give up something I love and like someone else said, she may start asking you to give up lots more and then you'll have no quality of life at all then.
