Also what bit needs replacing for the infocentre/speedo to work again?

Infocentre works perfectly it's just the speedo and the speedo related data that doesn't show. It needs the sensor replacing. This is on the side of the gearbox next to the driveshaft, these cars don't have speedo cables, it's digital

What are the tyres like on the orignal steels?

One probably needs replacing, the rest are all legal

Also what size engine is it? what insurance group?
Engine size is 1.7, non turbo. Insurance group varies from 12 to 14, but this isn't a turbo, so it's at the better end

Already back. been back since July. I am on a course and will need a weekend commuter to get back to see the family. This is tempting, ideally want an estate and for it to be of VAG origin but this could do it at the right price.

I've got the wheels up at £250, I'll copy the text over from one of the sites I've got them for sale on

I'm selling my volvo and splitting it from its wheels (in signiture) before I do so.

Set of 4 Renault Turbines (PCD 4x100), powder coated orange about 12 months ago. They've all got Yokohama Paradas on with very good tread, two are nearly new and two are just about to come to the first wear indicator but still have loads left.

One wheel does have a mark to the centre cap, it's not major and the water doesn't get behind it. I carefully t-cut it every now and again to get rid of the dirt in it. I'll get a photo up of it once my camera's working (In fact, you can see it on the first picture, at the 2 o'clock position)

I think it needs a new alternator, it's got a good battery on now which will start it once but usually not twice.
