Hey, some cool pics here. was a great day out. unfortunately i didn't get much time to walk around and check out the club stands etc since i was fixing my mini for a while - or out on track breaking it.

Did anyone get any pics/vids of mine? I was the Beige one with the Brown roof/arches/bonnet, 'Opel' 16v engine, parked on the MiniWorld stand... easy to spot on the track as i was the one with all the smoke coming out of the back! (really sorry if my smoke-screen affected your laps!!)

First time i've had it on the track, and even though it was very poorly, it was a lot of fun. Can really feel my heavy front end VS light rear end though and as a result i was coming out of those chicanes very sideways! finer tuning of rear end susp setup required!

Sorry didnt get any pics of yours but someone there said you blew your engine up? Is that right?

Hey there Aaron, yeah that was the 4 till 4.15 session, its around 13mins long so I cant send it but will have a look through and see if yours is on there and edit them bits out and send them? It was the grey one wasnt it? Any other noticable mods on the outside as some of the footage is blurry!

No worries, i found about 3 seconds of footage of my car on another forum haha.. makes it all worthwhile (i'll take my own camera next time )

That Bill Richards incident did seem rather close!! I was out on track with him a couple times, but made sure i got well out of his way when i saw him coming... really did get the feeling he was in a different event but didn't realise he was out to show off the car and scare people!

and yeah - i've done a number on my engine! but it was well enought to limp it to the MiniWorld photoshoot yesterday though - Simon (the photographer) was very insistent that i dont damage it out on track!
