I know im kinda digging this one up, but where abouts have you mounted the rear of your harness?

Also i dont suppose someone knows the length from bin to bin? (Closest edges to the center of the car)

Thanks

EDIT forgot to add aswell, how did you secure the board?

Hey C93

Sorry i didnt see you replied to it...

Erm well tha harnesses are bolted to where the rear seatbelts mount to... but i have also made a little plate to bolt to the seat frame to stop the belts from lifting and causing the box to move up and down.

The box is just screwed into possition where the old seat back and base was secured.

Scott.

Ah cheers. When you say the rear belt mounts do you mean like just under the kick bit on the base of the previous rear seat?

Thanks

Apparently its close enough 42" bin to bin, i was looking at putting a couple of 15" subs where the back seats are.

on another thread a guy very kindly measure up the back of his car and did me a pic that makes it just about 40"'s which to be honest i think will be a bit crammed. so ive optied for 10's instead so theres a lil more space :D

That was a build out of mdf.. made two peices the size of the back and bottom of the seating area, then built the rest arond the sub box, which is a ten inch sub...

My current project doesnt have anywhere for rear seats, the panel for the seating area is not there, just a cage wires and fuel lines at the moment....
