Sorry I havn't posted in a while- been away in South America (Peru) since the end of May, so nothing's been done on the mini :'(
Since returning earlier this week I've been full-on tiling the kitchen, which will be followed by a few floor tiles, and painting!!!!!
Believe me, the last thing I want to be doing is DIY, especially when you consider the fab weather, but I stupidly made a deal with my better half, so that's that.
The first thing I did when I got back was to stand in the garage for a good 10 minutes just absorbing my mini. Funny how you can miss an inanimate object like that!!!
I'm still aiming for the mini bash, but it isn't going to be easy........
Bye for now

Oh yeh, Dean, I forgot to mention the naca duct adhesive I used- clear araldite- it won't discolour (yellow) with exposure to U.V and it sticks like the preverbial to a blanket!

I can only assume an internal seal has blown as petrol was just flowing out from around the setting dial. I'm a bit hacked off really because the regulator isn't exactly subject to a lot of fuel pressure as I'm running the smallest facet fuel pump available. So, I havn't turned a wheel in anger yet, and already I'm having breakages. I'll try to buy a new regulator (of a different make) tomorrow....
On the up side I fitted the windscreen this evening- no problems whatsoever, and loads easier than I was led to believe it was going to be.
Back to t(o)iling again tomorrow....

Miniboo, I'll see what I can do regarding piccies. In the first instance I'll check my archives for something, but failing that I'll take some for you- but I can't guarantee I'll get round to it in the next couple of days, as I'm well and truly demoted to tiling duty again now.
No problems with the gravel and paint thing. To be honest I didn't exactly intend to spin the rear wheels up- it was only my 3rd ever drive of the car, and I'm still getting used to the sensitivity of the throttle pedal. It was good fun though!
