thanks ! oh by the way its donnington kit car show on saturday and sun with free entry to kit car drivers! z-cars are demoing on the track as its a track day on saturday aswell (i would think you can get in free as chris is selling kits inside.

Chris is away abroad for the show, i asked if they wanted any bike engined minis for a stand their and they declined the offer as they are taking Vtec power and the new citroen Saxo demo car.


It was worth a go as i thought we could have got a group of us together their???

Im not driving 2 hours in the mini!!! its too bloody noisy and i dont have a spare wheel either!!!

I'm here.

Soz- have been catching up with everything that was put on hold for the 2 years that it took to build my car. Mainly DIY housey things. Mini is hibernating for the winter- it doesn't do any kind of moisture. I still havn't got around to removing the driveshaft and sending it back up to Chris for shortening yet. Maybe after I've got the log-burner installed I'll get some time off for good behaviour.....

DD do you mind me asking what colour is your car, and did you get your roll cage powdercoated? Just went through all 21 pages to see if it had been mentioned before but could find anything

I was trying to get the car painted Tweed Grey (GR4), but the paintshop was having difficulty finding it. In the end I went through hundreds of swatches to find a colour I was happy with, which turned out to be a Suzuki colour. The Suzuki code is OFR for the grey, and OF5 for the black roof. The paint was supplied by Spies Hecker and their codes are as follows: 70584 (grey), and 75169 (black).

The roll cage was powder coated by Z-cars to the standard blue colour of their race kit at the time.

It's been a long time since I've posted on here.

The buzzwagon has been wrapped-up in storage for the past 18 months having had less than 300 miles pass beneath it's tyres since completion in September 2006. So, it's about time I unwrapped it, gave it a nice polishing, and got it MOT'd again....

..Just a few little jobs to do (relocation of fuel lines to prevent vapourisation).

When I get some more time, I'll post some more images....
