Does anybody ever think what is the point in replying??
If you think it's bad for the car then stop doing it.. Mini's were never designed to be ragged! Not saying that i dont from time to time.. but i know the effects and i deal with the consequences!

To answer the first part of your question, (seriously) I did get the wheel hop problem, the second part has already been answered by Cooperman, I sorted out my shock absorbers & cured the problem.Does anyone Get wheel Hop Under hard acceleration?

loking at the photo of your car and the description of the engine, I don't believe it has the power to spin the 13" wheels under accerleration. So fix the clutch!
