Yep, typical MWS. Stitched a load of people up with these 'old style' rims. MWS have some strange system that can fit the tyres, but I don't know what it is. A friend of mine was stitched with a set, and MWS won't give money back as they say they can fit the tyres, so the wheel isn't inferior!

don't they just mount the tyre form the rear instead of the front, although iv'e not seen one to have a good look at, is the tyre well nearer the rear bead than the front bead

I don't think the actual shape of the wheel is correct. My mate had a set of these wheels, and my brother (a professional tyre fitter at the time) could not get them to fit. It's something to do with a safety edge that is on the wheel, and is present both sides but should only be on one side i think, or is too close to the lip both sides or something. I can't quite remember

Most places around here won't fit tyres to 10" Mini alloys because they either break the tyre, the wheel or the machine. Personally I think it's time the wheel manufacturers got together & learned how to use measuring equipment to produce wheels that we can all get tyres on & off. The way the majority are at the moment are not in any way conducive to safety. I use Mambas because I can fit tyres to them without any tools, just a bit of soap & my heels.

there's obviously a design fault with the wheels, the wheel well inside the rim where the bead sits when your putting on the opposite side isnt deap enough, cant get them past the rim edge, there fricking useless!
i had some tyres fitted by MWS and apparently (my friend told me as he was sorting it for me) they heated the tyre up to get them on! which is an obsurd idea!!

That's just resorting to desperation tactics, they should not be doing that, if the tyres are that tight to fit, they could easily be damaged.
