a notification when your thread gets posted on is a good idea (if there isnt one about atm?)
do lose track of threads pretty easily
and whats with the spam warning when you try and find topics posted on/started by a certain member including yourself?
Cheers

Email updates on threads you have posted on are indeed already available, you can get them by ticking the "Enable email notification of replies" when replying to a thread. A helpfull feature is that you can choose to have this selected by default in your control panel.

The spam warning is just a time related thing, if you try and make too many requests to search threads (this includes viewing members posts etc.. anything that lists threads/posts) within a certain time period.
