Much as I dread returning to Coventry (I thought 18 years was enough time spent there), I may have to go to this.
If only to flog some calendars....oh & to give Stig a poke.

It may just be me, but who's running the show... ?
Can't see squat about on the web, not even on the Stoneleigh show grounds website....
You got any 'publicly available' details ?

Coventry = Stoneleigh.......(Stoneleigh being just outside Coventry).....which is why they are on the same dayjust checked and it actually said in MiniWorld that the other Xmas shows were cancelled the ones in Barnsely and Kempton Park, NOT the stoneleigh one
(one of these was gonna be on the same day as the stoneleigh one anyway)
Andrew Greenwood has confirmed that his Christmas Mini Show near Coventry will go ahead as planned, despite some reports that it had been cancelled. Greenwood says the show is almost full for trade and club stands, and will take place on Sunday, December 20. His comments come after a news report in another magazine mistakenly confused the Christmas show with another event at the Ricoh Arena.

The Mini Christmas Shows Return
Some of you may remember those rocking Mini Christmas Shows from the period 1997 – 2003, complete with legendary show host John Price, Father Christmas, strange people, plenty of club and trade stands. Genuine Warmth On A Winter’s Day and some of the best and most loved shows we ever produced. Seems they have been missed by both the trade and the regular exhibitors. And we have missed them too. On a recent visit to a mini show after 5 years absence, the one question we constantly heard was ‘When are you going to organise another Christmas Show?’ So we thought about it and concluded that these people might just have a point. The only question was ’Can we find one or two venues?’ The answer to that was no, we found three!!
So put these dates into your diary
6 December – Mini Christmas Show North, Metrodome, Barnsley
13 December – Mini Christmas Show Midlands, Ricoh Arena, Coventry
20 December – Mini Christmas Show South, Kempton Park, Middlesex
No entry forms at the moment - just notification, but if you do want to part of these really fabulous shows that will also feature appropriate entertainment in 2009, plus a free gift of Sweeties to the little ‘uns from the real Father Christmas, please register with us by just sending a quick note to [email protected] to allow us to forward priority booking forms to you in a few months time. If you represent a club, an indication of just how cars you might like to enter would help.
A really great celebratory way to sign off the 50th anniversary year of the Mini.
