Holy crap, thats the mother of all amps!! Why the hell is it so big?? I'd love to see the size on the capacitors in that bad boy.

And I really hope there is some kind of anchor under that install with the harness bolted to it, otherwise thats the stupidest and most dangerous thing Ive seen in a while :withstupid:

i had to remove the pockets in the rear and lost the original seat-belt anchors, i welded a 5mm thick bracket to the door pillars and fitted the achors to these. works fine & passed MOT.
The amp is physically huge (about the size of a regular suitcase) no fun to fit! The amp sits on a sliding panel to access the rear terminals. underneath, you can see the 4 yellow tops all linked in parallel via 0 gauge cabling. At the moment the bass speakers are removed, the arrangement didn't give me the sound i wanted (although the power is there)... my first amp test was going through some country lanes to get petrol and i took the amp to near full power (it was like some possessed, raving dinosaur using my head for a maracca) on the way back the road was blocked by a very large broken branch! (i'd only been down the same round 10 mins earlier)...Ooops!
But weather & incentive are against me, i haven't touched it for some while now...it's just sitting in a remote garage, waiting.

Its hard to get a picture of put he's got a sub and amp on the back seat and has then carpeted over the back seat. Looks the bizz but is bloody hard to do.

I wanted to mount my amp on the rear bulkhead facing into the boot, but i find that i need to put my amp on something cushy- otherwise my amped speakers pop over harsh bumps in the road. My setup is alright, it's just the bumps jog the wires running from the head unit to the amp. How have you guys mounted your amps on the bulkhead without getting this problem?

you can get some sticky-back bases for putting cable ties through, mount these on the bulk head and tie the cables down, or simply drill a pair of holes and put cable ties through these...a lot more sturdy.
