What sort of mounting points did you use for the back half of the rotisserie? I've only ever seen people just put a pipe straight down the middle, through that hole in the firewall and a hacked hole in the upright of the back seat panel, but your way looks much more civilized haha

The back of the rotisserie is attached at the strut mounts with a guide attaching trough the rear subframe floor holes to keep it steady.
Don't really have a close-up picture that clearly demonstrates this but you can get the idea from this one.

applied dynamat to help with heat and noise






plan on investing in carbon door panels eventually but keeping the stock ones at the moment


started positioning items around engine bay. Catch can, washer bottle, scott oiler...




using the chain guard as a guide for the scott oiler nozzle

i don't know if you got it running yet but how is the oiler doing??? does it make a big mess

Been away for awhile, work on the mini took the back seat but nonetheless progress has evolved slowly these past two years.
Since a picture is worth a thousand words here are a couple to put this thread back to date.

Hours of fun mating the R1 harness to the new custom fuse box.



Headliner although straight forward was a challenge and a first.









Exhaust installation and exup setup will be tested and benifits evaluated (objective is to obtain / keep low- mid range torque)







Installation of nerf bar to help protect sump.





Modified fog/ rain light



With windshield in place time for a bath and some water leak testing !



After some time in the sun...







... Back at work on the interior







Racepak instrumentation



Fluids in place mean that the brake and clutch lines are finally completed



Getting the exhaust oil burnt up

Waiting for the budget to get KAD alloy hubs (the current ones are worn and I have bearing play) and complete suspension setup, maybe I'll get a break in drive before the first snowfall!!!
