A very belated update.

After a break due to the snow, and me being lazy, the car is now ready for it's MOT.

Last job on Friday was work out why teh spot lamp had suddenly stopped working, and even that's done now!

Plan is, book it in for an MOT next time I've a weekday off work, then use her for the summer.

Still looking for original arches, removing the spots, and giving it a good clean and polish.
Interior is all completely standard too, which is nice!

Lets hope she passes, then I'll have put three mini's back on the road in a year!

I put some more petrol in, and pumped up the tyres on Saturday, and have her booked in for her MOT on Friday...
Exciting?

I got two mini's back on the road last year, and this is my first this year, (hoping to get two again).

Nice work and good luck for the MOT :)

(We need a fingers crossed emoticon, I seem to always have my fingers crossed for someone's MOT/driving test etc!)

She passed, without so much as an advisory.
Held of taxing her until today, (didn't want to pay for February), then zoom, zoom...

Just so you know, the car's taxed and on the road.

However, it started miss firing, so I've checked it over, and just bought new points, condenser, dizzy cap and rotor arm to fit this weekend, and zoom, zoom again!

Thanks Charlie, How's yours getting on?

All running fine, but I've taken the bonnet off to clean up and repaint before giving it back to Ruth.
