Hi, ok after been asked to look at making these, I can, but I doubt its viable? Each shelf would be £25.00 each, and I would want at least 5 people confirmed before I made them

let me know if anyone is interested?

im surprised that the first comment after a price is so negative, epically after you said you would want a carbon version!?

i might send them a pm later on, also, i dont think you would need a lip as you cant tell from the pic but the shelf leans backwards slightly so stuff naturally goes staright to the back.

It would be better with a slight lip, every time i accelerate hard everything falls out of my one as the plastic is fairly hard and nothing grips to it!

Have you tried using an "Anti-Slip" mat? you can get them from Halford, that should fix the problem.

Yup, didn't make much difference, everything still falls out

If you incorporated a lip to stop things falling out & maybe the option of having a pre-made hole with or without a cigarette lighter at the very back (so it's hidden) I'd consider paying £25.

PMSL

you had best search ebay then, To manufacture this will require a skin mould, then a plug making oversize, painting, sealing and polishing, then a true mould to be made from tooling gels and resins so it does not shrink or twist - and then to only get £25.00 for a product that will sell 5 - 10 units max

I would say thats a bargain

of course you could go to fred in his shed who operates with no insurances, no factory costs, no H&S regulations who wouldnt make a skin mould, plug or true mould and just slap some blendback resin onto the original and wonder why every one he makes id a different shape :D

but hey, you obviously know that £25.00 is too much - so you will end up using a cornflake box and painting it with poster paint

i havent put alot of stuff in mine yet, just a couple of pens and some fliers for my local club but nothing has fallen out yet, and its all slippery because i back to blacked it!

i was surprised to see that one sell for £14, the one that sold for £30 is more what i was expecting.

anyway the future for the fiberglass replica looks pretty bleak at tho mo. its a shame because i might have even brought one just so i could use the fiberglass one and keep the orignal safe.
