My prep,

New set of winter tread tyres (its the law here (Sweden) if its get less than -1), they come in either studded or friction which are a much softer rubber with more tread. They really make a difference, especially if you have real thin wheels.

Set of jump leads could be also be very handy or better still one of those emergenct jump start - charger pack things!

I am also thinking of blocking off the 2 air vents (near the doors) as even when closed they seem to let a cold draft of air through.

Thick socks, - the spare jacket advice is great!! lol.

waxoyl how do you apply that?

Where the heckski do you get winter tires, eh???
i can't find them anywhere!
do you have 10" or 12"?

this is my second winter with my mini now, although last year it was in the garage being rebuilt
i have a rover weather shield on my car, which i fit anytime weather is starting to get bad.
i think a can of deicer is a good idea for the windscreen in a morning.
or just stick some in the windscreen washers

is de-icer sort of stuff good in the radiator too?

im positive my car will make it through summer, she runs really really well all the time, and even when its really cold she warms up just the same
(well, with choke out a bit)

my girlfriends mini struggles to run without choke from cold on a warm day, guess its all in the running tho. ill get that sorted when its back on the road

I certainly didnt find them, but i run with 13X7 the rest of the year! And i must say the winer wheels in 12, for me anyway, feel a million times smoother than the 13's,

Cheers
