Just wanted ideas of value of my mini too see if I got a good price and also for insurance prices

Is a 1979 Austin Mini 1000

. Repainted in Lamborghini arancio borealis metallic with pearl (orange!)
. Most rust got rid of have tiny bit on front skuttle under plate apart from that is mint :lol:

For a custom mini it is well presented and clean..

I'd put a 2-3k sale price on that, however for an 'agreed' insurance value, considering the paint, blended arches etc etc I'd aim for something like 4-5k, basically because if it's in an accident, the bill for spraying could be rather excessive...

insured it for 3 - 4k
would i ever be able to get a colour match on it by taking a sample of the paint from the car as owner told me the colour but I am not 100% whether it is the exact one.
2 - 3k is good as the car owes me £1950 at the moment going to look at putting a bigger engine in over the spring and making the underside as tidy as possible :wub:
