what is it about your mini or minis in general that outs a smile on your face? no matter how small or daft.

what is it that makes you love your little car?

i love the fact that every road becomes slalom as you try and avoid the potholes and man-hole covers (anything for a smooth ride)

so come on folks share you reasons lets see how many different things we come up with!!

When I was in my uncles mini and we were avoiding the speed bumps because it felt like we were gonna roll it

iv got a couple of stickers in my rear window, 1 says "sell my mini id rather scratch my piles with a wire brush"
i can watch people in my rear view mirror at lights or in traffic jams read it and laff
that makes me smile

Today was a group of lads in a mk2 golf GTI.

when boxes of shiney things arrive for me to fit.
i haven't driven morgan mini yet. but used to love showing up far more expensive motors in my old minis

- Parking next to a HUGE american style gas guggling "truck" and realising that the mini would fit inside the trailer area.

- Having some one right up your **** on small roads but with them dying to overtake! and then leaving them for dead when a corner comes!

- Here (in Sweden) having old ladies wave at the car!

- popping into tiny parking spaces un feasable for the saabs and volvol!

Staying right up the arse of a WRX STI on some local S bends (which I do everyday on my route to work!) watching him fight round them, then simply lose me on the straight.

Whenever i go and park up outside a pub or something and you see little kids going up to it and saying to there mum..look look its a mini

Whenever i go around country lanes or squeezing through gaps in traffic that no other car can do

EVERYTHING about my mini puts a huge grin in my face

One of my favourite things is the fact that they unite generations of people - I love that random strangers of all ages and types of people come over and talk to you. First they admire your car and then share their own mini memories and dappy stories of towing caravans millions of miles, to breaking down, to throwing their mini around in the snow (I don't want to play any of those games, but I love the chatting!)
