everything about my mini makes me smile....

but nothing more so than seeing him parked up somewhere with all the other cars and know he's all mine

Totally agree with that.
It's when im walking away and then look back never fails to put a smile on my face.
Always get a good view as i try to park as far away from other cars as possible !
Unless there happens to be another mini about. :D

I have a seriously loud exhaust, love the look on chavs faces when you drown their 4" back box out on their rubbish little fiesta and then cain them off the lights.

There is no other car that is so much fun as a Mini!! :D

the convoy of bikers that came past us on the motorway on the way to newquay, all of us were in pirate costumes and we turned the scamp into a pirate ship. got loads of people slowing down to have a look too, at some points there was no traffic in front of us, it was all in the 2 lanes next to us!

Reminds me when I was in a convoy going to Stanford Hall some years ago, a long stream of Harley's with the stereotypical hell's Angels onboard passed us slowly, all of them admiring the Mini's, giving thumbs up as they go. Then they passed the super car ahead of us (some Lambo, can't remember which one) and gestured at him to move out of the way as he was inferior. Classic :D

Having the prestige of being able to effectively service and to a small extent maintain my Mini. But best of all is driving it on the twisty mountain roads here in Taffyland, because it makes me feel like a big kid without having to break any speed limits.

So yes the adrenalin rush and buzz I get from my Mini is priceless, plus of course it does turn heads in the way more modern cars (sorry BMW BINI owners) generally don't.

Oh and being a rather large chap does raise a few eye brows when I get out of my Mini, but if anyone asks how I manage to get all my family in our Mini I just tell them that it's actually bigger on the inside and can travel through time and space. Ha.

:D

best one was today - going to Ambleside from Hawkshead (South Lakes) with me, mum, dad and sis in the car , pulled like a train and behaved beautifully in the torrential rain - proved them all wrong it did

I just love it when this little car shows people what it can do and they are always amazed by what it can do ...

its even better when you can get two minis through a car park barrier on one ticket  just drive like the italian job :shift:

I recently gave a mate a lift in mine and after going around a few roundabouts and taking a few bends he then asked why wasn't everyone driving real Minis because their fantastic.

I had to sadly point out how once upon a time back when times were better, most people did drive about in real Minis. But the British Motor industry has gone.

So even after 50 years, a Mini can still take the unsuspecting by surprise.

Made me smile yesterday. Windscreen wipers got stuck on but this morning, they fixed themselves.

The best thing is when people cut you up/overtake just because your in a small car and then you see them keep on checking their mirrors when you stick with them round all the bends.

Love taking my mates out in the car, even people that don't like cars leave saying "i want one of those"

I love that i dont have to try hard to stand out in my Mini.
I love that i dont have to worry about not having a radio because i can listen to the beautiful engine.
I love that smile other Mini drivers give you along with a wave or a flash of the lights.
I love that feeling of parking your car and looking back and knowing that its mine and not all the trash parked around it.

I love my Mini...maybe a bit too much.

Its my first car and i dont think il ever sell it. If it blows up, il put a another(bigger)engine in. End of.
