Does anybody know what pl minis are like in rotherham


i second the leave it how it is idea, it looks really nice with no mods, just leave standard arches and the wheels that are on it

p&l minis is in thurnscoe, they know their stuff and build lots of cars. theyre a heritage dealer and have loads of stuff
i prefer to use minispares at (harrogate). but without knowing where your from i wouldnt know which is closer

Hi, nice Mini! I have loved the sidewalks interior scheme from the moment I first saw the plaid! What are you going to call it? You should call him "Kern". I knew a guy who's actual name was Kern...he was a really nice guy. Seeing that your plate ends in KRN, I figure Kern would be a fitting moniker.....better than Korn the Mini (I did know a guy that used to be called Corn though....long story).

Ive had a good think about names but Kern sounds very good maybe the one. I love the sidewalk interior just so different n funky

Does look like a good purchase, welcome to the forum by the way :D

Looks like maybe you got 12x5 deep dish supalites on there, they should be stamped 12x5JJ on the back, they do fill the standard black arches nicely just make sure you got some decent tyres on there, if you decide to keep it this way.

Well shes gone in for a spot of welding in the boot. Then hopefully goes through the mot with no major probs then she will be back on the road cant wait

Well it turns out i need the boot welding and a patch put on the sill and a new ball joint also the wipers dont work but went to have a look and the new dash is in and at least that looks good

Sounds fair on the MOT work needed wippers often damp check motor

Well i finally got her back. £1200 lighter in the wallet buts shes moted, taxed and insured so im rather happy with that. Its just so much fun and to be honest its quite nippy and handles really well

Its a lovely standard mini, replace the missing arch on the drivers side and spend any money on bits that are worn or end of life.
Stick to performance mods that dont show, mostly for the hell of it.

At little work to the suspension and a few tweeks to the engine and it will be so much fun you would rather part with an arm than sell it.
which is just as it should be.
