OK IM SORRY FOR EVERYTHING ! ! ! i have the magazine now ,yes its a pathetic little picture about two inches high but after one rushed show didnt think it was bad ? thanks for bursting me bubble you lot ! probably ganna leave this forum im obviously not welcome ,shame because on the whole its a good forum for technical etc ,but god help you if your a lil differant and want to do anything outside the box or cant spell or you own a saxo or basically anything that might even have 0.1% of anything considered chav on your car ,or own anything other than a mini or just generally like anything that modified that someone in here dosent like or if you have an idea that maybe not possible but just asking (yull get shot down in flames) or like me lives in norfolk ,and has an accent and YES talks in text sometimes, or wants to attend other shows other than just mini ones IM SORRY IF I HAVE AFFENDED ANYONE ON HERE wont be a problem in the future !

you havent done anything needing an apology but even your apology comes accross as aggressive. we are all a friendly lot on here and whilst some ideas arent to others tastes that doesnt matter. dont leave the forum its a wealth of knowledge. my only advise would be read the guidelines on posting. and on a positive that pathetic two inch pic actualy looks good and at the end of the day its your car so put the mag in your box of mini bits and be proud its yours.... ive been on here a couple of years owned minis for more and mine is not in a mag!!!

All I was saying was that this topic went on far too long with nobody seeming to give the guy a decent answer and that he'd quite rightly had enough of unwarranted pee-taking. If that is his Mini, fair play because it's gorgeous and I'm glad he's finally found out.

To be fair to the poor chap this forum has always been

1) Incredibly touchy about well... anything
2) Against modifying or trying to do things on a budget

I've had his experience before with various posts, one I recall about some seat frames I bolted together being criticized immensely without constructive feedback. I feel a few people (not all of you, most are great and I know a number of you in person and you're great ) need to have a think about the basic reasoning behind this forum- a place to gain insight and information into 'all things mini'.

Please don't take this personally anyone just a fair few people on here appear set on keeping their minis as they came out of the factory or restoring them to this, occassionally someone can't afford that or chooses not to but fancies owning a mini all the same.

P.S Please don't reply telling me that you personally don't as I'm simply making the point that SOME people do!

i think his mini looks nice, and he only asked a simple question, and got ripped, fair enough he got agitated but people gave him the ammo to do it.

not aimed at anyone in particular (bacause alot of it was just friendly banter, only a few were actually abusive) but was a lil disgusted reading this thread by the abuse this guy got for well... nothing really!

thought this forum was for all mini owners, not just mini owner who like/ dislike certain things styles views or... magazines, im sure there is worse magazines you can be reading...... alot worse lol
