Hi all bought stage 1 kit for my 1991 mini 998, fitted it all today but havent tuned it yet ive been told i need to tinker with the mixtur but dont have a clue were abouts that is car sounds great but is only running because weve turned the revs right up but still its slugish so hopping it is just the mixture thats the problem any idea where the bit to change the mixture is??? also any one no of a garage that specialise in mini's in the bournemouth area??? Thanks alot for any replys and any one in the area that could help me since my knowledge of fixing mini's isnt that great cheers

the mixture is the mixture in the carb that needs to be sorted out.

not sure on garages in your area though

since i wrote that ive done the mixture at a garge and its running at 0.7 when for any decent power from a mini aparently its ment to be running at 2.0 to 3.0 so maybe i have an air leak or something any ideas for where this could be coming from???? and any one that could help??? wb thanks alot

check the gaskets on the manifold and also check that that exhaust pipes are well sealed
