You'll be fine, you HAVE the confidence to do it so try not to be nervous. Your instructor has every confidence in you that you can pass or he/she wouldn't have advised that you apply for your test.

You can do it, just be prepared to do every manourvre to be on the safe side. Things have changed so much since I did mine; we're talking about back in the days of horse and cart practically!

Best of luck and I look forward to seeing your post with the good news :dontgetit:

bad news, failed guys. Got 2 serious faults. Really gutted because the rest of my test sheet was blank. :shifty:

First one was hesitation (not blaming my instructor here) because my instructor always said never to go straight away when people flash as they could be flashing a friend etc, and make sure they mean it. So when a driver flashed me i waited a bit after to make sure and then they drove on.

2nd well stupid really, when asked to pull in I indicated at the last minute when a driver was behind.

Got reverse left round a corner and turn in the road - they went okay.

Got to wait about 3 weeks now to re book because the waiting list has grown.

Feel bad money wise as my parents will have to fork out another 60 to book and 36 for and hour before and during my test.

The test person loved to hit it hard to me when explaining my hesitation - another kick in the balls is when they hand you a leaflet on telling you how to Eco drive and act on C02 lol.

Oh well, gonna have some chocolate.

Peace!

Gutted mate, I'm sure you'll pass next time.

Also my opinion on eco driving is to drive fast as possible so you get where your going quicker and spend less time with the engine on :shifty:

Don't worry about it mate. I failed mine twice. And in Basingstoke theirs a 3 mouth waiting list to book a test. I had my first test 3 weeks before the IMM and I only passed 9 days ago. Just shows how long it can take. Keep trying though it will be worth it.

Aww that sucks, But hesitation shouldn't really be a Major imo.
I passed Mine today, Turned out the Instructor owned minis and was more occupied with talking to me about them than actually watching what I was doing.

Put it all down to experience, as for the hesitation no doubt you would have been in the wrong if you hadn't hesitated. Don't feel bad about your parents when you pass you can repay them in kindness, do a bit of running around for them.

Good luck for next time.
