Hi guys
I need to replace my fuel filter as its corroded through....
Whats the best way to replace it....simply clamp the fuel sender hose?
Got a Haynes, but just wanted to know if there is way you've done it?
Many thanks

If I remember (been almost a year!), the system is pressurised, so best to do once the engine has not been on for a while. Obviously take all precautions!! Is it the filter thats corroded or the pipes/connectors that connect it up?
If it is the connectors/pipes, have a look at this:

Be careful when taking the pipes off. They tend to rust due to there positions.
They can be replaced but when I swapped mine, I had to wait almost a week for delivery and called a few companies.
Also make sure you get the correct fuel filter. There are 2 types for different VIN numbers. Quoute your reg or VIn whne bying to avoid confussion
