Just been given a crate of Guinness but it is 4 months out of date, started drinking it today and it doesn't taste too bad just a bit of a fizzy taste!

Will it be ok?

Well If you do start to go blind, let us know!!

I'm usually not too fussy on sell by/use by dates, its not an exact science and a few days either way shouldn't hurt. However 4 months is a bit longer than I'd like!!

Do the cans show any signs of blowing out?

(This means that the bacteria inside is multiplying and as its a sealed can theres nowhere for them to go, hence the can deforms.)

The cans look absolutely fine, only bought them last crimbo and have been in garage the whole time.

The wife won't touch them, she is quite fussy on stuff like that, so i usually leave stuff i want to eat to go out of date deliberately so i get it all to myself :)
