Just been given a crate of Guinness but it is 4 months out of date, started drinking it today and it doesn't taste too bad just a bit of a fizzy taste!
Will it be ok?
I guess you'll find out in couple of hours! or tomorrow morning when you wake up blind and disorientated!

I'm usually not too fussy on sell by/use by dates, its not an exact science and a few days either way shouldn't hurt. However 4 months is a bit longer than I'd like!!
Do the cans show any signs of blowing out?
(This means that the bacteria inside is multiplying and as its a sealed can theres nowhere for them to go, hence the can deforms.)

The wife won't touch them, she is quite fussy on stuff like that, so i usually leave stuff i want to eat to go out of date deliberately so i get it all to myself
