Hi all,

Bit of a theoretical valuation wanted here.

If we have a good condition mini city e 91'. Recently had the bodywork re-done/touched up and repainted in a standard mini colour. Good condition mechanically and structurally - how much of a difference in re-sale value will different engines make?

The specific engines being;

Stage 1 998 with 50k miles.

The above 998 fitted with a metro turbo and all necessary parts

Standard 1275

MG Metro Turbo 1275

There seems to be quite a following for 998's, but then from what ive seen 1275's seem to be more sought after and tend to have a higher price tag than the 998's. A 998 turbo could be seen as reasonably unique, but im also thinking it could be seen as quite a bodge job. And, well the MG metro turbo 1275, ive never actually seen one up for sale, so im not sure of the comparitive resale values.

Any ideas?
