I've read this 10 times now and it still makes no sense. Anyone translate?

Re the tyre choice, i swapped my Dunlop SP2000s for Yoko A539s, and think they are a fantastic improvement to handling / grip. Also i think they tramlime less - but perhaps just me.
Ryan.

What I'd be interested in is the load index of all these tyres. 165 60 x 12 A539s are 71 (or in english 345kgs). Now this is probably about right for the front of a fully loaded up min (i.e. 4 people in), but probably too high for the rears, you have to compromise somewhere though.

My thought is that the 13s available may all have ratings that are higher than this, meaning harder compounds. I've never had 13s on a mini other than when I run slicks. But having just bought some to go on a mini based kit car, I'm interested in what is available.

well from searching there are continetal sport contacts in 195 45 r13 and 175 50 r13
also they are dunlop sport fast response 2's in 195 45 r13
175 50 r13 means u can have yoko A359S or A0048/ ADvans

so quiet a few really

I've had Dunlops and Continentals in the past, but now run Yokohama A539 and have done for about 2 years. Wouldn't put on anything else now!
