So to answer my own question, it seems that most of the 175 50 13s are available with an index of 72 (355kgs). It does seem that some are available with higher indexes in the same size. Worth looking out for, as if you end up with the higher rating, your tyres may last forever but not handle and grip as well.

as far as i know, the bridgestone ones in 175/50/13 are discontinued. they were my favourite but havent seen them in years now
i bought a set of allys with these fitted as new cond for £100...

From Mytyres.co.uk but they are no longer on there.... a few of the mini shops used to do them to....
Left hand side are deep dish 13X8's with 205X50 R13 and Right are 13X7 195X45 R13 IIRC. I used to run the bigger ones on the rear.
