There were 1275 injections before 1993 but after midd 1993 the 998 was dropped and all got 1275 engines and went over to single point injection.

Around '93 only the coopers went to injection then around '94/95 all models went to injection.

So we got them 1 year earlier? I can't imagine that, to be honest...
Last carb = 1990/'91 RSP Cooper, and early to mid '92 all(!) went to injection.

No, we did not have any HIF38 carb'd 1275 engines (Sprite etc.).
All went injection in 1992. 998 droped out on that point too.

So much for the german market at least... ;)
(Other markets might be different, though)

I think you did get them 1 year earlier because the europeon british open classic was injection IIRC whereas the british ones where carbs.

Paul.

My 1994 mini 35 had a 1275 carb engine. The 35s were the last special editions with 1275 carbs (HIF38). The 1995 special edition (can't remember which one that was) was SPI.
