i bought my front end made of non gen panels. the panels are fine, the build / welding of the front is poor.

It depends how skilled you are, you can mess up a front end made of gen panels if you arent confident or skilled.

I wish i had money to buy panels and have it welded by my mechanic, but i was strapped and bought a complete front off ebay made by a random DIY-er

Just think twice about using MiniSpares as they do seem to have higher prices than everyone else. I used Somerfords for mine and I thought the gen prices were very reasonable compared to non gen.

I USED HADRIAN NON GEN PANELS ON MY FIRST CABRIO MINI, THEY WERE A RIGHT BA$TURD!!!!!!! IVE USED MMACHINE ON MY VAN WITH ONE OR TWO GEN PANELS

QUALITY WISE THEY DIDNT DIFFER BUT GEN WERE A BETTER GRADE OF STEEL AND WELDED MUCH BETTER

I GO WITH THE RULE OF A POOR WORKMAN BLAMES HIS TOOLS !
BUT ON THE OTHER HAND YOU CANT POLISH A TURD!

JUST BE CAREFULL BUT ID SAY MY NEXT PANEL BUY ILL BUY GEN PURELY FOR A BETTER GRADE OF STEEL AND THEY TEND TO BE JUST A LITTLE THICKER TO!
