Hi Josh where in NZ are you? I know where there are about 5 1275 mini motors here in Chch otherwise I may be able to put you in contact with someone in the north island whom has a few motors

Hey, I'm in CHCH. I've already been in touch with a guy about the 1300 morris engine (Fairly cheap), but would you guys recommend a 1275 mini engine instead?

0272569843 for anyone who would like to get in touch. I'll post pictures of the mini as soon as I take some.

Chrome_GT: I've read your forum and i'd love to have a chat!! are you in CHCH too? Any help you could offer would be awesome!!

Love this forum, good work UK!!

Ok, turns out it is a morris 1300 engine.

I have a couple of options at the moment. I could get the 1300, or I could get a 1275GT engine (although this would cost quite a bit more). What are the advantages of getting the GT engine over the 1300? I've heard they sound fantastic, but other than that I really don't have a clue.

Cheers for the replies!!

The morris 1300GT engine was fitted to innocenti cooper 1300. Its a very robust unit and feed by twin HS2 carbs, while the 1275GT had a single HS4 carb.
