Hi all,

Been having the same problem with my sidewalk for over 2 years and still haven't sorted it. The idles very low when cold and the revs never seem to pick up, also the emissions are sky high (nearly double) so much that its burning the CAT's out (on my third one) and lambda. Ive changed everything. Lambda (twice), temp sender, vac pipes. Ive also changed the injector as I was told the stepper had gone on my old one (didn't replace the temp sender on the new one though).

Idles so low that it stalls on occasion.

Anyone got any idea what it is, think the only thing I haven't replaced is the ECU.

Could the stepper need setting up again? Would that cause high emissions?

Without a diagnostic result on this, it could be anything. You need to find out what it is doing now, to determine which bit to fix. At a guess it could be a faulty stepper motor, faulty ECU or the set up, without the diagnostic, I would be speculating as to the problem.
