If you are going to do this use the RAC trackstar IMO so much better than a Tracker, as the RAC will give a running commentary to the police where you car is where as a Tracker the police can spend hours hunting for the car.

I've got one of these and take the screw off piece with me when i leave the mini.

Just found one of these on ebay for 5 quid, seem like a good idea, have seen other threads on here recommending these, so fingers crossed!

Had one of these on my last Mini - only problem I had was when I forgot I'd removed the screw and tried to start it, the drain killed the stereo memory. D'oh.
