Madness utter madness, i'm glad you have dumped the hideous bonnet and gone for the cutout look , so much better. That is a different conversion and does look mean so fair play to you. :trooper:

:) :P  for it all!! I reckon the bonnet or a similarly bulged one could be pulled off. Would be nice if it was steel or aluminium but looks an absolute weapon. VIDS!!

Adding a couple of engine pictures, for those who are interested.
Have had the first start up for the season, but Norway is still covered in snow, so driving is a few weeks away.

Oh yeah baby! I know rotary engines are light, but do you know what the weight is?

Those pictures are great, but how do the tyres cope with putting that amount of power down? How careful do you have to be with the throttle so you get good traction.

Im loving the updates so keep them coming as and when you are able (ie videos!!)

This was a concern when I started the build, but it is no problem. Actually other racers who have tried the car are amazed of the amount of grip it has. The words "freak of nature" have been uttered...
You have to be a bit careful with the right foot of course, cause there are pretty much power available...
By adding throttle gradually, following the rpm (it rises FAST!) the powerband is smooth as silk.
Slam the pedal down in 1st 2nd or 3rd, and all hell brakes loose! ;)

Haven't had the car on a scale yet, but the rotary engine and gearbøx is about the same weight as an A-series engine with the tranny. A 'normal' person can lift it from the ground...

Blimey I didn't know the engines were that light!
I take my hat off to you for all the effort that's gone into it.
Keep up the good work and I think I speak for a few people on here when I say I wod love to hear it on boost or some incar footage, but it looks like we will all have to wait a few weeks (as you state)

wow, that looks incredible.

"Prop-shaft is custom-made, and will cope with upto 1000bhp"
...sounds like a challenge.

Just adding some images of the new anti-roll bars front and rear... Had some body roll last year,
and they will hopefully sort it out. The rear one I nicked from my mates BMW E30, and made it fit. It works well, and
was free... The front is a adjustable Minispares unit. Bolt-on for a change...
Got some new "shoes" as well
