Ive always wanted a quad rotary in my mini, would you go for that? :P

The 4rotor is an awsome engine, but I think it is too long to fit. Maybe a 3rotor (20b) engine would squize inside a clubman, but it would be tight, and you probably must put the radiator in the boot.

Sorry for the lack of updates... Too much work keeps me away from the garage. I have done SOME work on the car aswell thou..
The engine has been given some bigger injectors to be able to feed its thirst for fuel, and hopefully it'll be running safe on higher boost.
The LSD is in place, and the suspension is upgraded with stiffer springs in the rear, and coilovers up front.
Wasn't happy with the look of the car last year, so i made some new rear flares, and while I was playing with metal, I made some side skirts aswell...
Need to get it Dynoed and painted, but I think it will be ready for some serious play soon!

My laptop, containing most of my pictures crashed, but I'll chech my cameras...
Placing the engine and box is a snug operation, but quite straight forward. My challenge was to convert to RWD using Volvo and Ford parts. The easy option is to use Z-Cars' kit, but I'm too cheap!! All in all it is not too difficult. I have none other skills than patience and willingness to learn new stuff!
Have put some more color over the new "styling"...sprayed by yours truly!

Had the car on the Dyno again yesterday, after changing the clutch (it slipped last time)
The little car made 375 whp (and 310 lb/ft at wheels) at 16 psi , with a smooth power-curve...VERY driveable! Raceday this sunday, and its first outing this season. Angry little car! :-)

Hats off!

This is one incredible machine, I recently had an Subaru impreza with 335bhp jus can't imagine how awesome an extra 40bhp ontop of that in a mini would feel!!!lol

Top work! ;)

Sorry for the lack of updates!!!!! The car is undergoing some minor surgery at the moment. My engine blew up in september, after som serious boost abuse! I have put in a fresher engine (also 13b-REW) with a street-port and some minor upgrades, and hopefully it is to be started this weekend. A brand new turbo is mounted (Precision Power 6266 CEA) wich hopefully will deliver the power earlier... In 2013 I am aiming for +400 whp :nuke:
Have no fear...the Beast is alive and kicking... Hopefully, I'll get my sh*t together, and post some fresh pictures in the near future!!
