hey all! i was just wondering what the 0-60 is on say a 1380 race spec engine mini? average?

Because you forgot to pull the choke out and u cant get her to fire up
No idea tho, but i guess it depends on weight of car aswell as engine. tyres etc factor in too?

Dont realy no, my mates got a 1380 and he's took back seats out and persex windows and fibre glass front end and he reakons bout 6 seconds, dont no if its true buts it feels preety quick. :grin:

You'd be better looking for a 1/4 mile time rather than 0-60...
as with the showdown, there's probably a lot more accurate figures out there and a 0-60 guestimate...
As a guide though I'd expect a well sorted 1380 to get into the 14's for the 1/4, with that your talking webbers, sccr boxes, lightened and balanced bottom end and completely stripped car...

It's not just the engine with Dud's car though..
He has an LSD, and it's very lightwieght!

That SMMC race engine is pretty much the same spec as my 1425, think my valves are a different size though. A handy reference there!

does it give off that lovely strawberry smell, i give my 2 stroke poutaline race oil and smells gorgeous, lol can smell it all the way down the street. its cool overtaking cause you dont get that dirty black exhaust fumes though the window, you get my lovely strawberry essence :tongue:
