I want to do in in car video of driving my mini, how have people mounted thier cameras when doing same?

this is something i would like to know as i plan on doing a video of minis next year, shaky hand held shots dont looks so good >_<

just get a mounting with a suction pad on it and suck it to the inside of your passenger window or back window >_<

I've not seen these, I kinda wanted a quick bodge as I'm bored at the moment and thought I could do a video

danrock is there any chance you can let me know if that single suction one is any good if you get it? dont want to put a camera on the outside like that and have it fall off lol if you could let me know over a pm or something that would be great! cheers

I got a block of wood and sat it on the rear parcel shelf, then ziptied the camera to the block. oh and I rolled a load of gaffa tape over so it was sticky on the outside and used that to secure the wood in place so it didnt slide around.



thats the video I made, year old now.

I have something similar (Hama 4040) - works great with a smal camera >_< (~400g)

Some footage:

Before I had this pod, I strapped the cam to the passengers head rest.
Also worked good and gave a nice point of view, depending on the camera's lens angle.
