It's a digital camera that my sister used to own but gave it to the rest of the family as she got a new one...
Not that great if I'm honest. Will try get my brothers camcorder next time...

To be honest I've absolutely no idea. Shouldn't imagine they would cost that much nowadays but you can probably get a much better quality picture and sound from a newer camera for roughly the same price I'd imagine. Half tempted to get a HD camera myself.
