it is cheap though!
for the picture atleast you can buy the cabel type either (which you posted)
http://cgi.ebay.co.u...=item414a20c503
or
http
://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1-5m-SVGA-VGA-Monito...item45efc6627f
the second essentially turns your tv into a monitor. If at first the picture doesnt appear on the screen i suggest restarting the comp with the tv on and connected!
the cable posted by guessworks is teh one for sound!
Good luck

Press Fn + F4, it'll cycle through the display modes available (I also have an NC10). See if that helps.

Are you holding function (little blue Fn) then pressing F4? It should at bare minimum, come up with an icon claiming "LCD" in the middle.Try playing with the multi screen mode.

For the sake of testing, scrap "Extend my windows desktop to this monitor". Can you set the monitors as "Dual View" or even "Clone"?

I use a cheap FREECOM DVD very small and very good with free view from pc world they are cheap because you have to update the software for free on the web for it to work well and plug it to a real free view twig then run it on pc with microsoft free media scanner the cards are better at top range i have one in another pc but can not fit it in my new USA gold Pred. pc or i lost cover it was hard to get in UK. Top spec. Some tellys will not take game toys or pc .Its something to look for buying a new telly
I dont realy understand, this is my mum and dads new tv, when i get one believe me it WILL have bluetooth! Anyway are you saying that the samsung tv might not be compatable with windows xp driver?

It's the Fn + F4 thing that would normally manage that. Seems odd that it's not working on yours, have you re-installed the laptop since you've had it?ive got it to use the tv as a monito but now the laptop monitor is blank! spose it will do the job for now, strange though!
