i can get 60 quid on surcharge from minisport but thinking its worth more maybe.

basically took it out as the crank was knocking and needs a regrind, after taking it apart the mechanic said the bores are fine so it only needs a crank re-grind. its all there...the standard cam, pistons, rods, crank.

what do pople think this would be worth if i sold it? anyone interested?

ill put the pictures up as soon as i pick it all back up.

cheers

or the other option is to keep it and build a turbo out of it, can this be done with an spi block?

With the need for a crank re-gring and, maybe, a re-bore, it is worth upwards of £70 to £80. I recently bought an almost perfect 1275 A+ block, crank & rods needing just a set of rings (to be thorough), a bore hone and new crank thrusts and for this I happily paid £120.
I also just bought a complete engine and box assembly, with all ancilliaries and heard it running OK for £200, but I have to take it out of the (damaged) car for that and transport it back to my place for stripping and reconditioning.
