We looked 'round a few places, but the one that we got really grabbed us and was exactly what we were looking for - Also ... they were plain white (didn't have that weird pattern) on the internal faces ... which sold it for me, lol

Firstly, I decided last night that I had had enough of the paint on the outside wall ...
Plus, it was doing the brick & mortar work no good, as it had started to get a little damp and blister.
So, I decided to get to work and remove it! This is where I started!!

However, I soon realised that it's HUGE, lol
So - I only got this far, lol

However .. It was also because we had much more exciting things going on in the kitchen!
Firstly ... we turned the fridge on

Secondly ... we started on the floor!
After cleaning up the concrete floor in the kitchen, K laid the DPM.
Then, we started to lay the uber-expensive self adhesive underlay, for the wood floor ...

After working out the thickness of the wood & underlays combined, we made some minor adjustments to the door frames!!

(the reason we're having to do all of this work

Perfect

And ... what does it look like....

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
You've no idea how much I love this floor!!!
I'm completely smitten!!
(It's only loose at the moment, it's not stuck to the floor - just so we can make sure we get it straight first!!!
