GW ive just been out in my car with your engine and gearbox in, it runs like a dream!!!! The gears go in so well, gear changes have feel behind them and best of all no crunching!
Also it has a nice and light clutch which is great!

So do i, it smells a bit at the moment tho he he. Also i cant get it to run well with the tappet breather attached to the carb but o well im buying a breather for it.

brill another happy customer! Ive had one of GWs boxs for about 3500 miles now and its still just as sweet as when it first went in :cry:

I'll add my thanks. Drove my clubby with a GW refurb box. Gear changes were as sweet as the changes on my Jack Knight box in my other mini, so he must be doing something right! :grin:

Engine is fine took it for a nice run, heard some loud knocking and found it to be the front wheel which was loose... guess my dad missed that one he he. Just got to work out whats with the acceleration when setting off, it feels like its pulling away in third.

Might need your carb needle reprofiling.

Its got the stage 1 needle in it but in a few weeks depending on how it goes ill take it to minisport and get it done.

Well judging by the praise given above, i should think Guessworks will be getting my gearbox when the time comes, should he be willing :cry:
