What a pressie, I'd have wet myself getting that for Christmas when I was younger, would have still been very nice now, please keep as original as poss' but it's your car so do as you want, just be careful on the upgrades for insurance purposes

You could fit an extra spring to the throttle cable at the carb. This is what I have done as I like a lot of resistance on the pedal.

Youl might find that on the V5 registration document the car is called a Racing Flame. I believe this happened with these special editions? Lots of people come on here saying they have a Racing Flame when really they mean Flame Red or Racing Green...

thanks for the info, will do that when i have the spring and time.

i dont have the V5 document yet, the previous owner lost it, so were applying to the DVLA for a new one.
