if you ever get to see an Right Hand Drive Automatic Bini look at the gear selector

The transmission letters P-R-N-D are down the left hand side if the stick and obscured by the leather gaitor thingy

However you can see all the letters perfectly from the passengers seat on the left hand side

wonder why they did that in a Right Hand Drive Car?
This is a Mk1 Bini Auto

But Ten years later they still assume the drivers here in UK are going to get their passengers to change gear for them

To the photo above my post.....don't the BINI have a gear selector display shown in the red LCD area on the gauges?

I think they do but the only other right hand drive car ive ever been in that had the selector markings down the left hand side was a Ford Mustang that had been converted to RHD

As they never made that car RHD you can forgive that as they were converted over here but a car made in the UK for the UK market thats just very cheapskate >

And lets face it they arnt cheap

So maybe it is displayed but its not that point really its very lazy of Bini to do that

The rear Doors?
I think they should either have them on both sides or not at all they look daft with just one

Now this I COMPLETELY agree with! It would make more sense for them to offer those doors on both sides of the car. As for the selector indicator, for real, after all that bezel is most likely ABS plastic. How hard would it be to have some molded for the RHD market? Not hard at all, especially considering these aren't inexpensive cars. Good point man!

I do want to correct you about the Mustang though....I am a HUGE Mustang fan (I used to own a '99 GT and am getting another V8 'Stang once we head back to the States) and Ford did in fact release a RHD Mustang. It was the 2002 Ford Mustang Cobra. It was released ONLY for the Australian market. That year (2002) we (the US) weren't offered a 2002 Cobra. For the "New Edge" SN95 platform Cobra-wise we had 1999 Cobra, 2000 Cobra R, 2001 Cobra, 2003 Cobra, 2004 Cobra. Here is some pictures:
